How much more perfect can a ring get?

A divine rectangle of blue topaz, rests on two narrow ‘shoulders’ of gold on a raised platform. The blue topaz has a deep ‘V’ at the bottom of the stone to give it the baguette cut that reflects maximum colour and light.

The stone is 14mm by 10mm by 6mm and the band is 4mm at the sides, narrowing to 3mm at the back. The metal is .925 sterling silver with one micron of 18k gold vermeil, so the gold should last a long time.
